“Great accomodation”

We needed a place for an overnight stopover on the Garden Route, and found Badgers Lodge after many days internet searching. It is a wonderful secluded place with swimming pool and plenty of grounds to walk in. We stayed in the family self catering and it was very well equipped with kitchen, dining area, indoor fire, outdoor braai, decking area, 2 bedrooms sleeping 4, and shower room. The outdoor area was completely private and overlooked the stream and woods. As we were staying 1 night we asked for breakfast and this was no problem. The breakfast catered for everyone - cooked eggs/bacon/mushrooms/tomatoes/toast, cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt, ham and cheeses. They cooked boiled eggs and soldiers for my daughter! The owners are very friendly and approachable, and obviously work hard on their B&B. It is situated about 5 minutes drive into Knysna, so although the B&B is in a quiet area the restaurants and shops are close by. Fanastic place to stay, and will go back next time we are in South Africa.

“Friendly family run hide away”
5 of 5 stars

We stayed at badgers lodge for 2 nights, but it was not long enough. Knysna is one place we would love to go back to in South Africa, and we travelled around a lot of the country! The town will only keep you busy for a day but the surroundings offer lots to do, but you will need your own car.
Badger's lodge is very well run, clean and an impressive accomplishment by the owners who seem to have hand made the well built challets.
We were well looked after with lots of helpful advice and the accomodation was much better than we had expected.
Unique, friendly and peaceful place to stay, but you need your own car.
